We have as a club taken the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Gosfield Triathlon, we have also decided not to postpone it at the risk of having to move it again and trying to negotiate the very congested autumn race calendar.
We have spoken to our suppliers and agreed a provisional new date next year of the 11th July 2021, we are however not launching this until later in the year. We are therefore going to process a 100% race entry fee refund, you do not need to do anything, it will take a couple of weeks to process as they are done individually.
We do still have our Autumn Duathlon planned which is held at Great Notley Country Park on the 4th October 2020 and can be booked here…. www.entrycentral.com/event/111494
It is with deep sadness that we have had to take the decision to cancel the 2020 Spring Duathlon. In light of the current government guidelines in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic we have no choice but to cancel this year’s event.
Those of you that have already paid for entry will be able to defer their entry to either this year’s Autumn Duathlon or next year’s Spring event. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.

You should also have been granted access to the private Facebook group – we also have a Strava Club just request access and one of our very friendly admins will let you in. 🙂
Slowly but surely the changes we have been discussing are finally being rolled out. The most obvious new feature on the site is the “Members” menu item. You may have also noticed that the menu options are a lot more concise. If you roll over About Us and the new Members for example you will see additional menu items to select from.
The password protection on certain pages has been completely removed – Club Kit was an example and this is now available via the Members menu or a desensitised version on the About Us menu. We will be adding current pricing to the Members club kit area.
We are looking into providing payment options via the website too, but with that there is a little legislation we need to ensure we adhere to. We are hopeful that in the future club subscriptions, club kit and equipment hire can be ordered and tracked through the website.
